The Ranger Group of Companies was founded in 1989 by partners John Garvey and David Waldock. Ranger’s first 18 years have seen explosive growth in both the domestic and international markets. Ranger’s head office is located in Toronto, Ontario situated minutes from Pearson International Airport and is staffed with more than 70 employees, and is supported by its branch offices in Montreal - Quebec, Los Angeles - California, Detriot - Michigan, and Monterrey - Mexico.

Around the world, Ranger teams help customers realize the potential of today's global marketplace. Ranger's goal with each and every customer is to deliver total customer satisfaction and value through logistics management and information services, providing customers with a competitive advantage.
The Ranger Group is comprised of four distinct companies; Ranger Express Forwarding Inc., Ranger Distribution Inc., Ranger Cargo Systems Inc., and Ranger Moving Systems Inc. Each company plays a strategic role in the Ranger Group’s plans for continued expansion across North America and around the world. Ranger Express Forwarding is the North American freight forwarding division within the Ranger Group. Ranger Distribution provides dedicated logistics services including warehousing and distribution. Ranger Cargo Systems provides its customers with local distribution options within the GTA and surrounding areas. Ranger Moving Systems, a member of the Mayflower Group, is the household/special projects division of the Ranger Group dedicated to providing white glove services all across North America.
