Ranger Express was founded in 1989 by partners John Garvey and Dave Waldock. Ranger’s first 26 years have seen explosive growth in both the domestic and international markets. Ranger’s head office is located in Toronto, Ontario situated minutes from Pearson International Airport and is supported by its branch offices in Livonia - Michigan, Laredo, Texas, and Pueblo - Mexico.

Ranger is born. The Ranger Group of Companies is founded by partners John Garvey and David Waldock. They move into their very first 800 square foot facility in Mississauga Ontario.
August 19, 1989
Ranger Express experiences rapid success and moves into a brand new 4,000 square foot facility in Mississauga Ontario to accommodate growth.
On the heels of a very successful year in 1990 which saw business excelerate quite rapidly, John and Dave decide that a new facliity is required. Ranger moves into a 23,000 square foot facility in Mississauga Ontario.
Addition to the Familly
With customers looking to ship product internationally and requiring additional service options, Ranger answers the call with the purchase of the Canadian rights to Jas Worldwide.
Ranger launches RangerExpress.com and is one of the very first transportation companies to provide online tracking to its customers.

Ranger moves into a brand new 40,000 square foot facility located minutes from Toronto's International Airport.
Montreal Welcomes Ranger
Ranger opens its Montreal sales office to support the needs of its multinational clientelle.

Ranger introduces Ranger Moving Systems. An agent for Mayflower and a full-service to do-it-yourself moving and storage company.

RangerExpress.com gets a new facelift.
Ranger Strengthens its N.A. Presence
Ranger decides to sell the Canadian rights of Jas Worldwide back to its parent. Thus allowing Ranger to focus all its efforts within North America.
2nd Office in Mexico
Puebla is the new home of Rangers second office in Mexico, enhancing the ability of Ranger to serve its Canadian, US, and Mexico customers.
3rd Office in Mexico
Ranger opens its third office in Mexico in Celaya. A city in the state of Guanajuato, Mexico, located in the southeast quadrant of the state.
